The Chundari Block Printed Unstitched Suit is Marfat Studio's tribute to one of South Asia's oldest and most beloved textile patterns. Printed in gold and silver on a deep indigo blue base fabric, every suit in this collection is stamped by hand using carved wooden blocks — one impression at a time, by the steady hands of our Karachi artisans.

The Fabric

The indigo blue base is chosen deliberately. Deep, rich, and endlessly versatile — indigo is the colour that has dressed royalty across centuries of South Asian history. The fabric is premium quality, soft against the skin, and selected specifically for its ability to hold block print with sharp definition and lasting colour.

Gold and silver metallic prints sit on indigo the way stars sit on a night sky — with quiet, undeniable brilliance.

The Print

Chundari is more than a pattern. It is a language — spoken through repeated geometric and floral motifs that have been passed down through generations of South Asian craftspeople.

At Marfat Studio, our Chundari print is carved into hand-crafted wooden blocks and pressed onto fabric with careful, measured precision. The gold print catches warm light. The silver print reflects cool tones. Together on indigo, they create a depth that machine printing simply cannot replicate.
